An Elephant and Piggie系列是一套情商教育的英语启蒙绘本，可以通过绘本来引导孩子，进行情商方面的教育。主要内容讲的是Elephant和Piggie这俩好朋友之间的日常生活的teeny tiny小故事，画面简单，线条清晰每页就一两句话，词汇均为生活用语。从乐乐妈那里借来给女儿读，今天周末女儿强烈要求做一个手偶一起读故事。
图片1今天做了手偶，我们一口气读了好几本，重点来给大家分享一下《I Am Going》。
图片2When Piggie tells Elephant, I am going, you can imagine the thoughts that run through Elephant's head. Elephant, after all, sees everything in the darkest possible light. What about me? Who will I skip with? Who will I play ping pong with? Who will I wear a silly hat with? Piggie remains resolute. She is going. Elephant declares that he will go, too. But that doesn't faze Piggie. Elephant pleads Piggie to go later--tomorrow, next week, next year. Piggie must go now. But WHY? WHY? WHY? cries Elephant. It is lunch time, Gerald, Piggie explains. I am going to eat lunch. Of course the two inseparable friends have lunch together, making today a good day. Just like yesterday.
