- 等同于通过在国外的正式教育已经完成了12年课程学习的学生(或者是将要达到该标准的学生);

- 在一个学校完成了12年学习课程的学生，获得了国际学历机构(wasc、acsi或者ecis)的认可，或者是将要达到该标准的学生;

- 达到同等年级，并且满足或者是超过东海大学上述批准的学术要求的学生。
