摘要：A device for measuring the length of a web, such as a floor covering or the like,in which the web is movable in longitudinal direction over a support surface, and in whichthe device includes a measuring roller or wheel adapted to be coupled with a measuringmechanism. The measuring wheel is arranged opposite the rear face of the web, turnableabout an axis extending normal to the direction of movement of the web, and pressuremeans, rotatable about an axis parallel to that of the measuring wheel, engage the otherside of the web for pressing the latter toward the peripheral surface of the measuringwheel. At least one opening in the support surface is arranged opposite the pressuremeans.
