摘要：The present invention relates to the field of communication technologies, and in

particular, to a precoding method in cooperative communication and an apparatus. Themethod includes: obtaining a direction matrix corresponding to a destination MobileStation (MS), where the number of rows of the direction matrix depends on the totalnumber of antennas of MSs in a cooperative area and the number of antennas of thedestination MS, and the number of columns of the direction matrix depends on thenumber of code streams sent to the destination MS; calculating a precoding matrixaccording to local Channel State Information (CSI) and the direction matrix; andperforming precoding according to the precoding matrix, and performing cooperativecommunication. The method in this embodiment enables the eliminating of interferencebetween users by specifying a direction matrix, and is applicable to multi-antenna MSs. Acooperative BS applicable to the foregoing method is also disclosed.
